Attorney and public policy advocate Elizabeth Appley represents multiple non-profit organizations at the Georgia State Capitol on affordable housing and homelessness. In this class, she discusses how to be an effective advocate, identifies key issues on housing and homelessness anticipated to be addressed in the 2027 session, and explains the importance of the upcoming elections in making policy changes to increase access to safe, decent, affordable housing for Georgians.
